Is there anything I really need to say!!!! Steak and cheese are my favorites so this is anything but a struggle to eat. I am huge into easy and good tasting and this is one of those quick in a pinch meals. Even the bossman likes this. I know people struggle with feeding there family meals and then making an alternative Low carb choice. I’ve learned to make my main dish Low carb and just add in sides for the boys. This is just another one of those meals, the boys put theirs on bread and I eat mine as is or add in a Low carb bread option such as cloud bread or low carb tortillas.
One Pan Philly Cheese Steak
2 lbs thin sliced beef
2 bell peppers
4 T butter
1-2 C mozzarella cheese
- Season beef and place in a heated pan with 1 Tbsp of butter. Cook beef till partially done and then add peppers. Cook until peppers are tender and meat is thoroughly cooked. Drain meat and peppers and return to pan.
- Add remaining butter and some additional seasoning. Let butter melt and mix together.
- Once butter in mixed in well add shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover with lid and allow the cheese melt on low for about 5 minutes.
