I’m a sucker for a good Cajun meal! I’m from the south were flavor is everything. I originally thought Id never get to enjoy another southern meal (dramatic YES). And as you know my whole reason for starting this blog was to turn everyday favorite dishes into a very easy keto versions. Bossman thought I was crazy at first but now he has sampled a lot of these he’s completely on board now. Every time I make something I think he likes it more than the last. Well this was one of those recipes, he even has been taking it for lunch! That’s how you know its good….
Keto Cajun Green Beans
1 T olive oil
6 pieces of bacon
1 small white onion
1 precooked sausage
1 C chicken broth
1 stick of butter
1 or 2 cans of green beans (any style)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 can stewed tomatoes
- In a pan heat up oil, add onions and brown. Then add bacon and sausages.
- Once browned then add in chicken stock, green beans, spices, and tomatoes. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes until cooked down some and everything is softened. Add stick of butter and cook for 5 minutes.
This recipe is so easy and only took about 30 minutes to make, you cant beat that.
Carb count goes off of meat used and beans used.
